Q) Isn't MyMatchTime completely free?
A) Yes, MyMatchTime's core functionality is free for players and clubs/organizations. The "Reserve a Court" system and all other premium services are available at an additional cost to the clubs/organizations that choose to implement them.

Q) How much does the "Reserve a Court" system cost?
A) This premium service is available for as little as $109/month.

Q) Is there a free trial period for the "Reserve a Court" system?
A) Yes, for 60 days, a club and it's member users can use the "Reserve a Court" system free of charge. If the club wishes to continue this premium service beyond the free trial period, the club will pay a small monthly fee as low as $109/month. The member users do not have to pay anything.

Q) What is the "free trial"?
A) The "free trial" applies to a club/organization that wants to try out the "Reserve a Court" system. Players do NOT have to pay to use MyMatchTime. The "free trial" is for 60 days. Unless the club chooses to provide such information, the club will absolutely not be asked for any payment information until after the initial 60 day free trial period is over, at which time the club has thirty days to provide MyMatchTime with valid payment information before the club's MyMatchTime environment reverts back to the standard system.

Q) What forms of payment are acceptable?
A) Credit cards and most other means of electronic payment. Billing is done each month beyond the club's initial 60 day free trial period.

Q) What is MyMatchTime?
A) MyMatchTime is an internet-enabled software application that was conceived of, developed, deployed and now administered by Potosi Web Software. MyMatchTime is available via a web browser by going to the following website: www.mymatchtime.com. The application was designed with the intent to provide an easy-to-use tool for racquet sports players so that they may find players easier, better utilize their racquet club's court facilities, more efficiently schedule court time, and be able to play more often. For a club, it is hoped that MyMatchTime becomes at least the 'de facto' means for it's members to schedule court time and becomes a valued member service that can be used to entice non-members to join.

Q) By using MyMatchTime, does this mean that I do not have to contact my club directly to reserve a court?
A) Not necessarily. This is ultimately determined by the policy that your club uses for reserving courts. If your club requires you to call in and reserve a court, than you can think of MyMatchTime as a supplemental means of contacting other members to see if they are available to play, but NOT the means by which you secure court reservations at your club. Hopefully, at some point, all of our MyMatchTime member clubs will use this site as their primary means for scheduling court time, but this will ultimately be up to your individual club. In the meantime, you can use MyMatchTime so that it becomes the "de facto" means of scheduling court time for your club's members.

Q) What if I get some kind of weird error message, or cannot access the site, or I think that something isn't working correctly?
A) Please send an email (technicalsupport@mymatchtime.com), make a phone call (215-235-1066) or send a fax (509-752-4157) to MyMatchTime so that whatever problem you have encountered can be taken care of immediately.

Q) Can I access MyMatchTime from my PDA?
A) Yes, for example, if you have a PocketPC enabled PDA, such as an iPAQ or Jornada, with a web browser like Microsoft's Internet Explorer and an internet connection, you most certainly can take full advantage of MyMatchTime even when you are away from your pc.

Q) What if I am receiving emails from people that I do not want to hear from?
A) If you receive any emails from MyMatchTime users that are inappropriate in any way, please forward the email (if possible) with a summary explanation of the situation to customersupport@mymatchtime.com, and also contact your club's MyMatchTime site administrator who can immediately disable the abusive users account if necessary. MyMatchTime is to be a pleasurable experience for all of it's legitamate users. Therefore, there will be no hesitation in disabling an abusive members account when warranted.

Q) Is my email address visible to everyone?
A) No one else can see your email address on MyMatchTime. When you look at your own profile, you can see it because the system knows that you are looking at your own information. Whereas, someone else looking at your profile would not see your email address. Instead, they are provided a link to "Send an Email" through the MyMatchTime website only.

Signing Up (top)

Q) How do I sign up?
A) Click on the "Register Today!" or "Create Your Own Profile" link on our homepage, and you will first be asked to accept the MyMatchTime site's Terms of Use. You will then be asked to choose what kind of user account you would like; you can sign up as a member user of a club that already has a presence on MyMatchTime, or you can sign up as a guest user without being affiliated with any particular club.

Q) Can I sign my club up for MyMatchTime, even if I am not an employee of the club?
A) Yes, you can, but it would be wise to make someone in your club's management aware so that they can take advantage of the premium services available to their club through MyMatchTime.

Q) What if I am not a member of a racquet club, but instead just have a group of friends that like to play and want to use MyMatchTime?
A) You and your friends can register as guests and begin using MyMatchTime immediately. Once your friends join, you can add them to your list of "Match Mate" buddies for quick access to sending them emails and scheduling matches with them.

Q) If I register as a guest, does it cost me anything?
A) As a guest, you do not have to pay anything to use MyMatchTime. Only clubs/organizations that choose to implement our premium services are charged a fee.

Use (top)

Q) What kinds of things can I do on MyMatchTime?
A) On MyMatchTime, users can create a personal profile that includes a picture, contact information, best times to play, player rating and any other things that would be appropriate for inclusion on MyMatchTime. Users can email each other directly through the site, while maintaining the security of their own email addresses. Users can schedule and confirm events on their club's calendar, with emails automatically being sent to the event's participants each time a new event is scheduled, confirmed, updated or deleted. Users can submit messages on the club's messageboard, email their club's site administrator, view their club's contact, court and event information. And of course, users will always be able to see their club's calendar so that they may know when courts are available versus which ones are being used, for what purpose and by whom.

Q) What happens when I reserve a court on my club's calendar?
A) First, your request is validated against other reservations that may conflict with the court time you are trying to schedule. If the court is available, your calendar, the club's calendar, and the calendar of anyone else you invited will be updated and emailed details of the event are sent out. In the email to the other players, they are encouraged to log on to MyMatchTime, and confirm or decline your invitation. Until they confirm the event, it will appear on your club's calendar with a color-code that signifies the event as 'Unconfirmed'. Only the player with whom you are trying to schedule the event is able to 'Confirm' your requested event, and after doing so, the event will appear on your club's calendar color-coded to mean 'Confirmed', and an email is sent to you so that you know your invitation has been confirmed. At this point, depending on your club's court reservations policy, you may want to contact your club and secure the court.

Q) Once I schedule an event on my club's calendar, can I change it?
A) Yes, if you are the person who originally scheduled the event, you can log on to MyMatchTime, go to your calendar or the club's calendar, click on the event, and then click the 'Edit/Delete Event' button. A different page will be displayed and it will allow you to either delete the event or edit the event with new information regarding the date, time, court location, and/or event type. If you choose to delete or edit the event, the edited event is validated for conflicts and then an email is sent to the event participants to make sure everyone is aware of the change.

Q) I am a user, and have thought of some event types that I want my club to make available via it's calendar. What do I do?
A) If you click on the "Members" link, you will see all of the people that are affiliated with your club on MyMatchTime. If you see the icon that signifies the "MyMatchTime Site Administrator", click on that persons name, and send them an email with the details of your request. They will be able to make the appropriate change. If you are not getting a response, then contact MyMatchTime for assistance.
